SPM. The MTF facility in Tullahoma is equipped with a clean room dedicated
to spindle service. After re-assembly, spindles go through a run in and
test period, to ensure that when a spindle is received, it is ready for
installation and immediate service. Machine Tool Fitters is very experienced with other types of spindle bearing
arrangements including, hydrodynamic bearings, tapered bronze bearings,
babbit bearings used on ceramic coated spindles, and CNC cartridge spindles.
